Ingredients:- BY Famous dietitian Sheela Seharawat. She is founder and mentor of Diet Clinic Health Care Private Limited, and one of the youngest successful entrepreneur in India. 

Rava / Sooji / Semolina – 1 Cup

Sugar – ¾ Cup

Ghee (Melted) – ¼ Cup

Cashew nuts – A Few

Cardamom Powder – A pinch (optional)

 

Method:-

  1. In a pan heat 1 tsp ghee and roast the cashew nuts and set aside.
  2. Roast the rava in the same pan for 5 to 10 minutes on medium flame. Do not overcook or burnt.
  3. Allow the roasted rava to cool and then grind it to a fine powder along with sugar.
  4. If you want, add the cardamom powder at this stage of grinding.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a bowl and add the roasted cashews and mix.
  6. Melt the ghee and add this to the mixture in the bowl and mix well thoroughly.
  7. Using a spoon make into round balls and store in a cool dry place.

Note: – Store it in an air tight container and it will stay for 4 – 5 days. If you are a health freak and want less ghee, you can use half milk and half ghee, but doing this you will have to consume the sweet
