Chicken with Lemon Sauce

Yield 4

  1. 4 ounce chicken breasts

1 t  oregano

2 t black pepper, split use

½ t basil

1 t granulated garlic

1 t granulated onion

1 t fresh garlic, minced

¾ c white wine

1 lemons, juiced

1 t cornstarch

2 t cold water

2 lemons, supremes

2 T fresh basil


  1. Mix oregano, 1 t black pepper, granulated garlic & onion.  Coat chicken in spice
  2. In a hot skillet cook chicken until brown (about 3 minutes)
  3. Flip chicken and cover pan. Lower heat to low.
  4. Let cook 4 minutes more.
  5. Uncover and raise heat to medium high and add garlic. 
  6. Let brown slightly. Add wine & lemon juice and reduce by half.
  7. Remove chicken.
  8. Mix cornstarch and water & add to sauce.
  9. When sauce is thick add lemon supremes, fresh basil & black pepper to taste.
  10. Add chicken back in and coat with sauce.  Serve immediately.
