Pasta with Broccoli Rabe, White Beans & garlic


Yield 6



6 cups cooked wheat pasta

3 cups tomato sauce

2 bunches broccoli rabe

1 cup marsala

1 cups white beans, cooked with no salt

18 whole cloves of garlic, roasted

1 tsp. black peppercorns, ground

4 TBL basil, chiffonaide



  1. In a large hot skillet add broccoli rabe & garlic.
  2. Cook over medium high heat until broccoli rabe is just soft.  About 2 minutes.
  3. Add marsala and white beans.  Cook for 2 minutes, until marsala is half reduced.  Add tomato sauce, pepper & pasta.
  4. Cook until tomato sauce is hot.  Add basil & serve.
