Diet Plan for Obese Kids

Obesity has been a growing problem among children all across the globe. Studies reveal that eighty percent of obese children grow up as obese adults, hence it is thereby controllable if taken care of at the initial stages. Dietician Sheela Seharawat says that it is easier for children to lose weight and change their food habits as compared to adults.

The family as a whole should adopt to healthier means of lifestyle and eating habits. A good diet plan for children recommends them to eat at least 4 to 6 times a day. The day should start with a hearty breakfast, followed by some sort of small snacking before lunch and after two hours, lunch between 12.00 to 1.00 pm, than a small healthy snack again after two hours of lunch, supper between 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm and finally dinner after two hours again and not close to bedtime.
