Dietician Sheela Seharawat mentions that certain foods are easier to digest than others like animal based proteins, acidic and fatty foods that are time consuming for the body to break down causing digestive problems. Hence, this festive season look for foods that have higher water, mineral, vitamins and plant based fats that are easy to break down and helps in proper and faster digestion. Other factors that ease out digestion are light exercise after meals, not drinking water during meals, eating in smaller portions and properly chewing the food eaten.
