It may be that it is your turn this season to do the snacks for everyone for the Christmas party. If you are a health freak and really want everyone to appreciate your healthier snacking options than try these healthy snacks options this season. Dietician Sheela Seharawat says health foods does not mean boring and tasteless items that one takes to lose weight.
Here are a few snacking options that are not only healthy but are also exciting and delicious:-
Snack dips: low fat dips made out of fat free cheeses and low fat natural yoghurt keeps carbs away.
Replace fried snacks with crudités and vegetable fingers.
Make some finger sandwiches with whole grain bread and turkey breast with cranberry spread instead of butter.
Use unsalted nuts as nibbles.
Toasted ham, smoked salmon, lean turkey, fresh prawns are great options to be used in snacks.
