How to avoid overeating?

Although it’s very tempting to avoid anything during the festive season with all the delicacies that we have been waiting for all the year, but it is also important to take note on what we eat and how much we eat. Dietician Sheela Seharawat in her consultancy recommends that by following some simple rules we can avoid overeating, like placing the calories intakes evenly throughout the day, limiting dessert intake and especially at night avoid and substitute with some herbal tea and limiting portion sizes are good options to be considered.
Along with keeping a watch on food intake, brushing teeth immediately after meals helps in reducing snack cravings, limiting salt intake by consuming less salty food and substituting desserts with fruits are good options to reduce food cravings and thus overeating.
