Post pregnancy is the period of 6 months after the delivery of the baby from mother womb. After the delivery the breast feeding process starts. The nutrition’s from mother is transferred to the baby. So the mother must know what is good for her and for the baby. If she is unaware of it; then she must visit the nearest diet clinic.
Dietician Sheela Sherawat suggests that as the mother health becomes weak after the delivery so she should intake food in higher quantity. Milk should be taken on daily basis. Fruits rich in vitamins and minerals should also be added to the diet plan. Consumption of nuts is also beneficial, but it should be consumed on proper scale basis. Women should avoid eating ginger containing food items. Consumption of over spicy and oily food should be ignored as these will cause pain in the lower abdomen. One must eat fresh cooked foods
