Carbs instigated our brain to demand more carbs, thus making us feel hungry all the time leading to overweight. Proteins helps in controlling carb craving, build lean muscles and has no side effects like many other diet plans.

The equation is very simple – the more lean muscles you have the more calories you burn. Fish, poultry, eggs, non-starchy vegetables and some whole grains are rich sources of proteins, whereas food like rice, pasta, breads, refined sugar and sweet fruits should be avoided in the protein diet.
