We all know that Christmas is the time to indulge and get spoilt. In this process we tend to eat, drink and do a lot of things that we should strictly avoid. There are certain dos and don’ts that we should following to stay healthy and happy this Christmas. Dietician Sheela Seharawat mentions a few things that will certainly keep us on the right side of health this festive season.
Avoid being hungry for parties and eat some light food before the parties as this will aid in avoiding heavy snacking on fried and fatty foods. Avoid choosing to lose weight, instead eat healthy to maintain your current weight during the festivities. Keep control on the portion sizes and have food in side plates that are smaller than normal dinner plates. Eat variety like vegetables, meat, legumes, fruits and whole grains.
