Eat more protein. Studies show that eating more protein reduces the degree to which the sight of crave-worthy foods, like a box of donuts in the office, activates the brain’s reward system.
1- Avoid artificial sweeteners. Fake sugar is still bad for you.
2- Focus on the biggest sources first. Do you have a habit of ordering a diet coke with lunch? Or perhaps you start your day off with an extra sweet vanilla latte? Take note of what you eat and cut it out.
3- Be patient. It’s amazing how one day you’ll just stop craving sugar, and the thought of cookies won’t even interest you anymore. But until then, hang in there. The cravings WILL be intense.
