How to go green this Diwali

Diwali is a festival of lights, where brightness of good wins over the darkness of evil. The triumph has been symbolised by lightening of earthen lamps in our home. The tradition is followed, as it illuminates our lives with prosperity. But people has been mis-lead by the fun and adventures of burning fire crackers which causes a huge amount of air pollution and noise pollution.


This is not environment friendly and not an effort that is sustainable. Then how to go about this? There are some simple tips to making your Diwali fun-filled without pollution. Our mother earth requires us to take a stand and sustain this beautiful planet in this universe.


Eco friendly Diwali Celebrations- It is possible!
Remembering the cracking of crackers behind uncles and aunts and naughty fun-frolics, but as our environment is getting depleted with essential elements in air, it is one’s duty to work for its sake. We can burn crackers boom! But those which cause less sound and air pollution. Go for Phuljhadis. No to anars, kunjas, bombs, not even sutli bombs. All you naughty rats no cracker burning from candles.

We can create awareness in our neighbourhood also, make it a community effort. Before! Diwali conduct small meetings and make it a green Diwali Drive.

The smell of diyas, these little earthen diyas illuminate the whole evening of Diwali. The gleam of diyas create an ambience as if all are on a golden globe. We can choose lanterns as well. Excellent option that reduces pollution and heart pounding electricity bills also.
