No matter what age you are eating healthy is always good for the health. This can help one feel energized. One can find several foods in the market but choosing the right ones needs the right knowledge. A healthy balanced diet helps you to lead a better way of life with a proper schedule. 


Eat Fruits and Veggies Regularly-
These are a vital source of minerals for your body. You should consume more amounts of fruits and vegetable in a day than you consume other food. This minimizes the risk of getting attacked by several diseases.


Have Starchy Food in Your Diet-
Try to keep starchy food in yours. This should indeed make up over one-third of your meals. Potatoes have good amounts of vitamins and other fibers in them. A starchy meal filled with wholegrain or whole meal diets is advisable.


Avoid Saturated Fat and Sugar Consumption-
Doctors say that saturated fat and sugar can only lead to an increase in the sugar levels in the blood rather than helping to maintain a healthy balanced diet. They can also cause decay to the tooth and increases obesity in the body. Thus, the more you avoid them the better your health will be.   


Prefer Dairy Products-
Dairy products such as yogurt and cheese are a rich source of calcium and proteins. Thus, daily intake of them will make your bones healthy. If you are consuming milk, go for the skimmed milk. Those who are intolerant to lactose can opt for the alternative products that are generally made of soya.
Fish, pulses, beans, eggs and meat contains more of the proteins. Along with that, the dietitians suggest that oils are also essential in a limited amount. If you are consuming them on a daily basis you will have a better health.
